2018

Eighteen months have passed since I returned from my 2016 camino. I have booked my 2018 camino to leave Vancouver on my 66th birthday, April 17 by flying to Dublin and then to Madrid where I plan on taking the bus to Logrono and on to Estella where I will resume my 2016 camino. I have set six weeks to walk the remaining 700kms. Being in the middle of spring means I will have all varieties of weather and a beautiful Spring.

This is going to be another challenge but one I am determined to win. Once again, I will be walking on my own. Pat is okay with my going and hopes, as do I, that I find someone to accompany me. This time I will not be out of touch with her at any time which is a very good thing.

The photo above is a picture of one of my hikes with The Vancouver Camino Group which goes out just about every Sunday, in all weather, and walk here in the lower mainland anywhere from 10-16km. They are a great group of people. You can find out more on their Facebook page here - and I encourage anyone who would like to know more about the camino to come out and join us.
